Sardinian Mathematical Library of the 19th century

This section of the C.R.S.E.M. site is dedicated to the history of Sardinian publishing on mathematics. A list of works on mathematics written by Sardinian authors or published in Sardinia during the 19th century will gradually be added. The aim is to provide a contribution to the reconstruction of the processes of diffusing mathematics in Sardinia in the past centuries through the identification and cataloguing of essays and treatises on mathematics in Sardinia. Due to a precise methodological choice, all the articles published in specialized journals of the period will be excluded from the list in an initial phase.
The project has been carried out with the financial contribution from the Department of Tourism, Cultural Policies and Sports Promotion of the Province of Cagliari as part of the funding of projects promoting and developing the culture and language of Sardinia (Regional Law no. 26 of 15th October 1997, art. 13).
